If you haven’t tried a blow job shot before, you don’t know what you are missing! Look past the odd choice of name, and there is a seriously delicious shot-sized cocktail ready to be the highlight of your next party.
The beloved BJ shot has been a quirky favorite since the ’80s. Like most provocatively named cocktails, including our red-headed slut shot recipe, blowjob shots are popular shots for bachelorette parties (and bachelor parties).
Many cocktail recipes have been christened with risqué names that only make us love them more. Think of Sex on the Beach and Slippery Nipples- iconic classics with cheeky titles nobody ever forgets.
I mean, why not name a shot after a blow job? Drink at parties, with friends, or at special events for an instant twist of fun- they actually taste pretty great (I am talking about the shot, of course).
It is a layered shot made using two or three liqueurs (see ingredients list below) for a sweet and creamy flavor. Look into our cinnamon toast crunch shot for another nostalgic drink! Blowjob shots are a little sugar bomb of deliciousness- and they will have you wanting more and more.
This is one of my favorite shots of all time. It combines three of my favorite cocktail ingredients and only takes a minute or two to make!
A Few Notes About the Ingredients
Switch Things Up with Coffee Liqueur
I use Amaretto in my blow job shot recipe as it is the traditional liqueur used back in the ’80s when they first became popular. However, you can also use a coffee liqueur such as Kahlua. If you are really feeling adventurous with your blow job shot, you could mix the two together.
Best to Buy Bailey’s
Bailey’s Irish Cream is the best for a blow job shot in my opinion. There are other versions, but none I have found have as rich or creamy a flavor- so they don’t hold up strong enough against the taste of the other liqueur in the shot recipe.
The whipped cream can be any old can from the supermarket- it really doesn’t matter what one you buy.

Forget About the Diet for a Second
It probably goes without saying, but this is not a diet-friendly shot recipe. All the ingredients are high in sugar- and the cream is not low in fat. Blowjob shots are about the fun- not the figure!
What Tools Do You Need?
You only need two tools to make a blowjob shot:
- Shot glasses
- A bar spoon
- Your sense of humor!
One small bit of advice I would give is to wipe inside the shot glass with some kitchen paper before you pour to make sure it is completely dry. It can help a little to keep your layers separate.
How to Drink a Blow Job Shot
To further push the innuendo involved in this cheeky shot- it is traditionally meant to be consumed hands-free.
Part of the fun of the blow job shot is attempting the challenge of putting your hands behind your back, picking the glass up with your mouth, and knocking it back in one go.
You don’t have to do this, but it is good fun. Even if you pick it up with your hands, you should still drink it in one so all the flavors mix together.

Enjoy and Drink Responsibly!
Crack out this blow job shot recipe the next time you have people over for a party and want to have a laugh- and a genuinely tasty shot!
You can’t not have fun drinking shots with a name like this, so get everyone a shot glass, impress with your pouring skills, and find out who is the best at shooting a blowjob.
As always, have fun- but drink responsibly.
Blow Job Shot

The Blow Job Shot is a layered shot made using two or three liqueurs for a sweet and creamy flavor. It is a favorite and a little sugar bomb of deliciousness!
Ingredients
- Amaretto (half a shot)
- Irish Cream Liqueur (half a shot)
- Whipped Cream (one generous squirt per shot)
Instructions
- Pour Amaretto and/or coffee liqueur into the shot glass while careful not to get any on the sides of the glass.
- Slowly pour Irish cream liqueur on top of the Amaretto and/or coffee liqueur layer. Again, be careful not to get any on the sides of the glass.
- Add a swirl of whipped cream atop the Irish cream liqueur!
Notes
- I use Amaretto in my Blow Job Shot recipe as it is the traditional liqueur used back in the '80s when they first became popular. However, you can also use a coffee liqueur such as Kahlúa. If you are feeling really adventurous with your Blow Job Shot, you could mix the two together!
- You can adjust how much Amaretto is used depending on how sweet you would like the shot. The overall effect is the same, but some people find too much Irish cream a bit too cloying. If that is the case for you, put a tiny bit more of your dark liqueur than this recipe calls for and lessen the amount of Irish cream liqueur.
- Bailey's Irish Cream is the best for a Blow Job Shot in my opinion. There are other versions, but none I have found have as rich or creamy a flavor. So, their strength doesn't hold up against the taste of the other liqueur in the shot recipe.
- To keep a clean line between the layered liqueurs, use a bar spoon and slowly pour the Irish cream over the back of the spoon and into the shot glass.
- Try to leave a small gap between the whipped cream and the edge of the shot glass to make it a bit easier to drink. The idea is to lift the glass with your mouth and tip the drink back, but too much whipped cream makes it tricky to get to the liqueur.
