However, you can put a spin on the classic margarita by going with a tequila reposado instead.

Typical Ingredients in a Casamigos Tequila Margarita Recipe

One of the most popular drinks around the world has to be the classic margarita. An original combination of tequila, fresh lime juice, and agave nectar, it’s the perfect cocktail to give you a refreshing pick-me-up. Here’s all you need to make the smoothest tequila of your life:

How to Add Personality to Your Casamigos Blanco Tequila

You can’t have a margarita recipe with no ice included. After all, it’s what adds a pop of coolness to the drink, while the salt rim gives it an extra oomph.

Crushed ice works wonders with a Casamigos tequila margarita, but you can go for cubes as well.

In this case, look for clear ice cubes, or try making them at home! You’ll typically need distilled water to show the transparency of the cube.

Some people like to add floral decorations to the ice as well, such as edible flower petals in yellow or magenta.

How to Make a Casamigos Margarita for a Large Crowd

Making a Casamigos margarita for more than five people is actually quite simple, and you don’t need to be an expert mixologist to whip one up!

Instead of using a shaker to create the mixture (which can take a pretty long time), use a pitcher instead. Here’s how you can create delicious margarita servings for five to eight people:

Ingredients | Prep-time: 5 Minutes

  • 1 1/2 cups of tequila Blanco or tequila Reposado
  • 1 cup of triple sec or Cointreau
  • 3/4 cup of lime juice or fresh orange juice
  • Around 3 cups of crushed ice/clear ice cubes

Shake Vigorously!

Similar to making tequila cocktails for one or two drinkers only, you have to keep shaking for at least 5 minutes with this process too.

Remember to add the required amount of ice, especially if you want the liquid to be diluted properly. It might taste a bit too bitter and strong if not watered down enough.
